Smile.

SMILE [smahyl] : to assume a facial expression indicating pleasure, favor, or amusement, but sometimes derision or scorn, characterized by an upturning of the corners of the mouth.

Walking from Math to English today, I saw something rather mood changing. Someone had written "Smile" in chalk on the sidewalk. You don't see that everyday! Especially on a college campus. Needless to say, I was particularly happy from then on. It made me think about how a simple thing like smiling can change your mood (if you really put some effort into it, that is). I realized just how many things and people make me smile at the thought. The list is literally endless..

But then at the same time, there is a countless amount of things that can destroy that smile... that can destroy this illuminated happiness.

I found this quote earlier today while looking for a "Smile" picture (I don't have a camera to take pictures with, so might as well steal some off the internet, right?).

"Smile... it's the key that fits the lock of everybody's heart."

So Smile today. Smile everyday. Flash someone a smile. It'll make your day and their day better :)
